SHIPPING + PICKUP

how will my order ship?

Enjoy free domestic shipping on orders $75+ by entering code FREESHIP at checkout. All domestic orders under $75 are shipped with $8 flat-rate shipping. Your order supports the USPS by shipping Priority Mail.

Orders are shipped in 1-2 business days from Brooklyn, N.Y. with an expected delivery of 3-5 business days. A notification email will be sent with tracking once the order has shipped.

Please ensure that the delivery location is secure for packages as we are not responsible for lost or damaged items. All orders under $100 are insured for free by the USPS. To ensure safe delivery of orders over $100, we recommend purchasing shipping insurance. Please send us a request prior to placing your order here.

do orders ship internationally?

We’re happy to serve customers worldwide. Please contact us here for an international UPS shipping quote.

do orders ship in recycled packaging?

All orders are shipped in 100 percent recycled content, plastic-free packaging. We encourage our customers to please recycle any materials that they do not plan to reuse.

can I pick up my order?

We’d love to meet you in person! All items are available for pickup at Maria Hernandez Park and Union Square in New York City. Please select local pickup at checkout.

Upon submission of your order, we will email you to schedule pickup or you may contact us by completing this form. Orders must be picked up within 14 days of purchase.

 
 

 
 

RETURNS

what is the return policy?

To make a return, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Items must be returned in the condition they were received and shipped back within 3 business days of contacting us. Please send us your order number and reason for the request here.

At this time, the buyer is responsible for return shipping. If possible, we suggest using the same packaging the item was shipped in to help reduce waste. Upon receipt of your return, the merchandise will be inspected and a full refund will be issued within 1-2 business days.

how can i determine my size?

Due to the uniqueness of each piece, we include the garment measurements and a range of standard sizes that the item should fit. Please reference our Size Chart to understand how measurements are taken by category. Each measurement is taken in inches, seam-to-seam with the garment lying flat, and doubled for bust, waist, and hips. We recommend comparing these measurements to a similar item you own. Please contact us here with any additional questions.

where can i find the description of an item’s condition?

The condition of each item is listed in the item description. We do our best to note any imperfections, however, there may be small flaws that we overlooked. Each piece is preloved and therefore may have natural wear.

how can i care for my preloved pieces?

We recommend using a delicate cycle for preloved clothing and hand-washing most vintage clothing. Prior to sale, all of our pieces are hand-washed using this biodegradable, no-rinse soap and cold water to minimize stress on the fabric and limit water use.

For pieces made of synthetic fabrics, investing in a GUPPYFRIEND bag can prevent microfibers from shedding and polluting our water. Line-dry your pieces to prolong the garment’s shape and hand.

To remove any wrinkles, a hand steamer is more effective and less expensive than alternatives such as dry cleaning. Dry cleaning has harsh implications for the environment, ages fibers more quickly, and does not always remove stains or smells. We recommend using an eco-friendly dry cleaners only when necessary.
